This begs the question: How?
Enter the VTA.
We see it as a means for the Folk interested in the tribal ways of our ancestors to be educated in the ways our ancestors lived - and - to introduce ideas and methods in use now - what works, what doesn't, how to deal with certain issues, like how to cope as a solitary practitioner, etc... A resource center stored online...
We also see it as a place for the Folk to meet and get aquainted. From this 'starting point' those who find ties with others and are interested in acting on their dreams could take the next steps - meet at Folkmoots, swear oaths of deeper alliance, rebuild/create tribes, start communities, etc. Or not. A virtual community might be all some Folk need or can do right now. Either way...
It's a way to identify those of like-mind and find those who you can trust. Those who want and are willing to give a little more of a commitment than just answering email.
This is something that cannot be done alone. There's power in numbers - a wealth of knowledge, experience and capabilities, not only in our faith, but in other matters (hunting, farming, building, herbal remedies - everyday life things) - not to mention moral support. Not everybody is fortunate enough to live in close proximity to like-minded Folk, or even have a kindred.
In this day and age, our Folk are like a jigsaw puzzle - you must have the pieces to work with before you can see the 'big picture'. As you put them together, you find the little pictures that make up the finished work...
Vinland - place of origin and main operations.
Tribal - of, relating to, or characteristic of a tribe or tribes (eg tribal customs).
Alliance - something that allies or connects.
It all fits.
